I have been playing the Flute for almost 18 years and Saxophone for almost 16. Over the years I have certainly developed a special bond with these instruments and I thoroughly enjoy teaching them to my students. I always structure lessons according to ability and preferences. Lessons are always fun and exciting!

Guitar
"Play your favourite songs"
As a self taught guitarist, I learned all of my skills, knowledge and technique purely from learning many, many songs on the instrument.
As this method of learning was so effective for me, my guitar lessons are based around songs, chords, finger picking and general musicality. Through these sessions I am also able to help with performance techniques.
I do enjoy writing my own original music on guitar, often with vocals. I always encourage my students to do the same.
One of the most enjoyable parts of my work is hearing some of the songs my students create.
